Da Bay, Da Beach & Da Beagle REVISITED

Sadly, we weren't able to run this fascinating event at the end of 2017 due to bad weather, but never fear it's back to educate, enlighten and inform you in 2018 ..

The TMAGgots are pleased to invite you to Nutgrove Beach to help mark (and lament) the end of Summer.

Join us as we explore the history of Nutgrove Beach to Long Point and follow in the footsteps of Charles Darwin, with Brendan Lennard, the City of Hobart’s Senior Cultural Heritage Officer.

Brendan has been lined-up to take us on an historical stroll from Nutgrove Beach to Long Point, sharing the rich history of the area, from Charles Darwin’s experience and beyond.

Please register online and signed-up guests can then meet us at the historic picnic shelter, just behind the old Prosser’s (now Seagrass) Restaurant (19 Beach Road) at 6.15pm, in comfy shoes.

This event is FREE for our Financial Members and only $5.00 for our non-financial members. If people are in the mood afterwards, we'll even consider a casual drink to follow nearby.

To register your interest in this event you can go to www.tmaggots.org.au
